Summer has just barely past and one of Australia’s biggest EDM festivals Stereosonic has announced their dates for this year already. 2014 was the first year of having the festival over two days in each city and they have decided to go ahead with the same format for 2015. The tour will start off in Sydney and Perth on the 29th and 30th of November, and then hit up Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane the following weekend.
Underground music show Boiler Room is putting on a series of intimate and exclusive events in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Boiler Room originated in London in 2010 and it primarily hosts small gatherings with often big name DJs and then streams it online in realtime. Sydney is playing host to names such as Derrick Cater, Simon Caldwell, Hermitude and Basenji on the 3rd and 4th of March. Chet Faker, Oscar Key Sung and Andras Fox, Touch Sensitive and Otologic will appear in Melbourne on the 6th and 7th. And it’ll all finish up in Perth on the 10th with DJs such as Sable, Hugo Gerani and Savoir. Public guestlists have unfortunately already closed but you can stream everything online if you weren’t cool enough to be invited.
