You’ve probably heard “Gold” and promptly fell in love with the tinkling charm of Kiiara. It’s addictive in almost an infuriating way.

Conjuring up Grimes‘ triple threat skillset of interesting production, gorgeous vocals and pop appeal, she has a fleshed out high quality catalogue of music.

And it’s a relief to realise she’s not a one-hit. Get ready to acquire a new addiction with “Say Anymore”.

“From the nightclub to the bedroom floor / I’ve never felt quite like this before / It’s your eyes that I really adore.” She’s 20 and her lyrics are clearly written for every other girl in this age group.

While these lyrics could be perceived as a bit cringe-worthy at times (Taylor Swift or Ke$ha may spring to mind) her knack for chopping up, cutting and pasting her music is utterly catchy and shows true purpose. And the real star of the show are her very feminine, muted, softly spoken vocals – she’s like Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby; to quote “Gold”, “tastes like money when I speak.”
